Step 1: Clean the ground and level it

Clean all the sand and dust on the cement floor, especially the sand. After cleaning the ground, it is necessary to do a good job of leveling. You can use a spirit level to check the level of the ground. If the height difference exceeds 3 mm, you must use cement mortar for leveling to control the height difference of the ground surface within 3 mm. After leveling the ground, you must clean it again to avoid a large amount of dust and particles remaining on the surface.

Step 2: Laying moisture-proof film

After the leveling work is done and the ground is cleaned, the moisture-proof film can be laid. The moisture-proof film of the floor is actually a PE film, which is a plastic film made of polypropylene as a raw material. It has very good waterproof and heat-seal properties. Laying on the ground can prevent water vapor leakage from affecting the composite floor.

The laying thickness of the moisture-proof membrane should not be less than 5 mm. Generally, it should be kept between 5-10 mm, and the joint of the two moisture-proof membranes must be overlapped by 5 or 6 cm. At the same time, they should be sealed with waterproof tape. Rigorously. In addition, the moisture-proof film should extend to about 5 cm above the wall, generally slightly lower than the height of the skirting line, which can effectively prevent water vapor from penetrating into the floor along the wall.

Step 3: Determine the laying method and cut

 After the moisture-proof film is laid, it is good to pre-lay the composite floor first to determine the best paving method and direction. Under normal circumstances, the composite floor is laid inward along the entrance, and there are many ways of paving, such as "工" type, "人" type, etc. The most common one is "工". Type pavement, the floors of different lengths can be staggered and spliced.

Of course, different paving methods have different requirements on the size of the floor. Generally, the width of the composite floor of the "her"-shaped paving is small and long and narrow, while the floor of the "I"-shaped paving has different lengths. the difference. However, the size of the composite floor purchased is uniform and needs to be cut at this time. Before cutting, determine the required size, then place a wooden board under the floor, and cut it with special tools.

Step 4: Pick the color difference on the floor

There will be inevitable chromatic aberrations on the surface of the solid wood composite floor. When paving, these floors with chromatic aberration must be natural, and the texture must be smooth, otherwise the aesthetics will be reduced. Chromatic aberration work.

When choosing chromatic aberration, you must ensure that the natural light is good, and then select a part of the floor with large chromatic aberration first, and place it in a uniform orientation, and then pave it according to the changes in the depth of these chromatic aberrations during the installation process to allow the color transition It looks more natural and regular, avoiding abruptness and clutter. There is almost no chromatic aberration on the surface of the laminate floor, so you can skip this step directly when installing.

Step 5: Take in the edges and install the skirting

After the installation of the composite floor is basically completed, we must do a good job of finishing the edges. When finishing the edges, install the special floor edge finishing strips at the place where the floor and the threshold stone are connected, which can effectively block the uneven cutting seams on the edge of the floor. At the same time, enough space is reserved for the expansion and contraction of the floor, which can protect the edge of the floor to a certain extent.

The last step is to install the skirting line. Generally, the color of the skirting line is consistent with the laminate floor. Install the skirting line along the moisture-proof film at the gap reserved when paving the floor. You can use cement nails to fix the skirting line. The gap between the skirting line and the floor should not be too large, keep it at 1 Within millimeters.
