Parquet "maintenance" can be done in just six steps

The maintenance of solid wood composite flooring is much simpler than that of solid wood flooring. The following points should be paid attention to in daily use and maintenance:

  1. Avoid sun exposure as much as possible to prevent the surface paint from aging and cracking under ultraviolet radiation.

  2. Inadvertent stains on the local board surface should be removed in time. Oil stains can be scrubbed with a rag or mop dipped in warm water and a small amount of washing powder. Drugs or paints must be removed before the stains penetrate the wooden surface.

3. Try to avoid contact with water, especially hot water for a long time. If large-area immersion or partial long-term immersion occurs accidentally, and there is obvious water retention on the floor surface, it should be dried with a dry cloth in time and allowed to dry naturally. It is strictly forbidden to use electrical appliances or sun exposure.

4. In order to maintain the beauty of the floor and prolong the service life of the paint surface, it is better to wax every three months, and clean the stains on the floor surface before waxing.

5. In daily use, you should avoid sharp objects such as glass tiles and shoe spikes from scratching the floor, and try to avoid dragging heavy furniture.

6. Keep the floor dry and clean. Clean the floor regularly and vacuum to prevent the accumulation of sand or frictional dust from scratching the floor surface; when cleaning the floor, you can wipe it with a wrung cotton mop instead of a wet mop or corrosive liquid. For example, use soapy water or gasoline to wipe the floor.
